Hi!
I'm Amy. In select circles, also known as Bad Aim, Zamy Laughalots, Aims, Towanda, Wined Up, and a few other monikers I'll keep to myself. Dr. Blackstone works, too.
I am a public sociologist who studies and writes about reproductive justice, population trends, workplace sexual harassment, activism and other forms of civic engagement, power and politics, and any other topic that strikes my fancy, hits the news, or gets myopic dingdongs with too much power riled up.
In recent years, much of my focus has been dedicated to the COVID-19 pandemic and what's been left in its wake: a silent but no less crushing aftershock, an illness known as Long COVID, that has claimed millions, snatching us from public life, while the world carries on as if nothing has happened.
Oh, and I'm an ordained priest in the Church of the Latter Day Dude.
Whatever I'm discussing, you'll find that it is almost always filled to the brim with plenty of SOCIOLOGY and a healthy dose of SASS. It may also be accompanied by some great wine.

"...whether you roll strikes or gutters, do your best to be true to yourself and others – that is to say, abide.” -The Dude
